Aviation route optimization

Facts

  • 3000+Aircraft Managed

  • 5x – 10xOperational Savings Increase

  • 97%ML Model Accuracy

The story

AirProxima (in partnership with Airbus) approached us to help them minimize the empty return portions of booked one-way private charter flights using machine learning capabilities. We built scheduling algorithms to cut down aircraft downtime and consequently reduce costs by over 25% and a series of machine learning models to predict flight demand to further improve the scheduling process, creating 5-10x operational savings for a top-5 charter operator.

14.000 Airports

The number of local airports used by AirProxima to provide route optimization and technical stop algorithms.

Incapacity to innovate

The demand from passengers is evolving constantly, pushing the aviation industry to adopt new work processes and technologies. Due to the conservative nature of the industry, it’s proving to be a hard race to win.

ABOUT

Developed by leading AI engineers from Amazon, AirProxima is the first open private aviation marketplace for searching and booking private charter flights. The company initiated its aviation angle in liaison with Airbus.
