The story

Spruce Health worked for several years on its HIPAA-compliant communication platform to dramatically improve efficiency but had experienced a growth plateau scaling health practices due to timely and manual VoIP configuration challenges. In addition, the search experience for doctors was too limited, which lead to inefficient workflows and got in the way of delivery the level of care Spruce strived for. We became an integral part of the engineering organization, set up a new VoIP system, revamped search and developed a HIPAA-compliant infrastructure for Spruce’s application.

Telehealth up 53%, growing faster than any other care

Telehealth fastest growing care sector in terms of claims, and advancing rapidly. Though Telehealth is still a tiny share of care provided. It accounts for only 0.11% of the Fair Health.

Healthcare delivery is too expensive for patients and chaotic for physicians

Spruce Health is among the top 10 telemedicine providers in the US.

About

Spruce is a leading communication and digital care platform designed for a world where most care occurs outside the exam room. The Spruce Care Messenger product brings modern messaging to healthcare to enable telemedicine and other forms of remote care right within messaging threads. For patients, this means you can easily access care (and even prescriptions) without a physical visit to the doctor. For doctors, Spruce makes it easy and efficient to adapt to changing patient expectations.
